In the NLC Spring 2024 split, Lionscreed entered as the strongest team on paper, poised to claim victory in the UK’s premier League of Legends league. With their on-paper dominance clear, the focus shifted to social media, where I was tasked with creating a campaign that would amplify their presence and engage fans, ensuring Lionscreed’s digital impact matched their in-game prowess. My goal was to craft a bold, cohesive narrative that celebrated their journey to the top.

One challenge was creating player imagery without the possibility of a traditional photoshoot. I overcame this by editing existing images of players from various organizations, adapting them to fit Lionscreed’s brand aesthetic. For match graphics, I took a "key art" approach, designing a single, unique image for each matchup to build anticipation. The repetition of this visual style became a strength, reinforcing Lionscreed’s commanding presence throughout the tournament. The campaign culminated in the grand finals against Ruddy Esports, a clash of two UK titans, celebrated with a London watch party. I designed boxing-themed graphics for the event, drawing on the sport’s historical significance in the region to heighten the sense of rivalry and spectacle. The result was a social media campaign that dominated the NLC Spring narrative, cementing Lionscreed’s victory both on and off the rift.
